Men who reveal a jealous characteristic tend to be those who lack confidence on some level. When men get jealous, it’s usually aimed at insecurity and the thought of losing the one they care about. If you believe that there is someone else who can make the woman you’re with happier than you can, then you could have some jealous tendencies. In addition, if you notice a significant dissatisfaction in your mates overall happiness in the relationship, it can also cause insecurities. These issues must be addressed in order to secure your confidence and prevent jealousy.

If you feel any insecurity in your relationship, then you already have issues that may strain the relationship. A healthy relationship should be based on trust, not guilt. People tend to feel insecure when they are guilty for something. Maybe for something they did in the past, such as lie or cheat. This may cause them to think that their mate may want to find someone who will treat them better. It may be a particular guy at work or a guy she is being friendly with. Regardless, if you are feeling insecure and she is talking with other men, you may see something more then what’s actually there.

Women who are deceitful or have cheated will also cause the men in their life to become insecure or jealous. A lack of trust is all it takes to bring on jealousy. Whatever the reason for your jealousy, you must address the underlying cause if you are going to continue in a healthy relationship. Women view jealousy as a lack of confidence and trust. Either way, it doesn’t make you look good. More times than not, it is something that is wrong with you, not her. If you are jealous because you can’t trust her, then you need figure out why you can’t trust her. If you are jealous because you are insecure about what you have to offer her, then you need to build your confidence!
