It seems to me that men who constantly swear show a lack of intelligence and respect for others. I expect that women think the same way. I asked women: How do you feel about men who swear or constantly use profanity? Some Responders: "I find it boring and an indication of limited use of vocabulary and intelligence. Also, it shows a lack of courtesy toward others." "It doesn’t really bother me in a regular social situation as long as when they slip the profane word in, it flows. What bothers me is when my bosses use profane words to explain things. I've noticed that they often do it to seem closer to their employees but it just seems really inappropriate." "It's so unattractive and it is even worse when women do it. It is just a disgusting habit." There may be some women who don’t mind profanity and some women that may swear more than you do. I guess my rule of thumb would be to use profanity in the same sense that you would expect it from her. If you want to date a girl with a trucker mouth, then swear all you want. If you don’t like women who speak like that, then show her the same respect. by William Edwards
